Could we rely on RMSE or any metric provided by Engauge itself?

I am used to compute RMSE, R2 and peak-to-peak error in such cases .... what do you think about?
from spartacus-shoulder-kinematic-dataset.
To elaborate on my first comment: Does Engauge provide a metric to say how precise this tool is ?
The Mean Absolute error would be fine for me, instead of RMSE, because I expect the error to be below one. And RMSE tends to minimize values below one. R2, and peak to peak, is fine also.
Do we want to evaluate the consequence on rotation matrix terms?
x, y, z axis in global coordinates, for example?
