While I don't know any exact dates, rest assured that the project is still alive. I would expect the next release to be sooner rather than later.
Or is there any particular set of changes you are looking to get to a tagged version? If so, Markus might be able to provide more help when he is back next week.

I have not much clue about the changes, just recognized there are a bunch of them and tried to add that to MYS2 (package manages in general prefer released versions).
BTW: Thank for answering both this and back in the GDB mailing list back in January 2022 ;-)

I should have set the tag when I added support for new processors back in Oct. I'll add the next bunch of new processors and set the tag in the next days. Thanks for reminding.

friendly ping, last commit to stable branches in March, last tag from January (possibly missed to push the branches/tags?)

I added support for the latest processors and I expected you to want the fix for #99, a well. I'll set the tag when both are in.
