On Binance, there are + and - (small) buttons to add/remove margin on position.

Yeah, I haven't been able to find out how other exchanges (FTX, CBP etc.) allow users to add collateral from guides or videos and I'd have to deposit and open positions to see it but I think the + sign next to Margin is the best approach, it was very straightforward for me when I first placed a trade on Binance. Traders will go straight to the position to add collateral and they'll see it immediately.

We can add a + sign next to the word Margin or the margin value itself and then bring up a modal.

Something along these lines but I'd make a circle instead of a square.
