Actually I don't need to recover that, just some dummy account follow tutorial, but still it still have a point, how user can get back there if they don't provide email.

@kocoten1992 Had that happen to me too while learning the ropes. :\
You could ask mefyl on e.g. Slack or IRC to help you out.
(More contact details are on the lower right of the homepage).

In general though that behaviour is by design, because nobody should be able to delete a user without having the private key to it.

A possible solution for this might be a separate test-hub for such initial experiments, or alternatively having either a --persist flag to make users stay on the hub or a --expire flag to have them automatically removed after some time. Or maybe requiring an e-mail address when pushing to the hub.

Hi @kocoten1992,

As mentionned by @Mansarde, if you did not associate an email to the account, we have no way to check this is actually you but your keys, so if you lost the keys it's pretty much doomed and requires manual intervention. One solution would be to force valid emails and have a "remove user" backup procedure. We definitely need to sort this out at some point, it's just not a priority right now as it is a corner case.

Feel free to contact me on slack if you need said manual intervention.

Cheers,
