There is only one problem - feeds are in different languages, it depends what language user has chosen for his Facebook account. If one for example is using English and the filter could recognize English it would work great but after changing language to a different one the pattern would be different because the feed would contain completely different content. It could be done for English and Polish because in those two languages i'm fluent. It's a little problematic to make it not locale dependant.

On the other hand your notifications feed is based on those settings:

I suggest you to look for appropriate settings and i'm pretty sure you can achieve everything there. Personally I'm only getting those notifications i'm interested in. Could you check it and tell me is that enough?

Blacklists / whitelists are actually a good idea but hard to implement for all the languages. I hope you can customize everything directly at account settings.

My idea is for the user to make his own blacklists or whitelists. So they can make it, they will do it for their own language. The ones I provided above are only examples.

I know about customizing the notifications in Facebook. The problem is that I want those updates in Facebook notifications, but I don't want FaceSlim to alert me about it. I want my phone to bug me for only certain kind of Facebook Notifications, but not all.

Now I understand. That's a good idea and it should be remembered. This month i'm not planning to do anything but it's a great feature to introduce and I will keep it in mind. It seems pretty easy to implement.
