If you want to move the provided node.js client example to edge device to interact with real data service, follow these steps:

• Add Dockerfile and docker-compose files (in attachements) in ExampleClient folder

• Change private url variable inside dataservice-client.ts file

private url = 'http://edgeappdataservice:4203/'

(PS: if you want to use it locally -> private url = 'http://dataservicedevelopmentkit:4203/')

• Go to /ExampleClient folder and run these commands:

npm install
npm run build
docker-compose build

• Uplaod this image as an application to IEM and deploy to IED

Hopefully it works 🤞

The problem is that the example app has no UI, but it can still send the API call. Try for example: http://localhost:5200/Variables/All

• In feature.ts you can find available endpoints.

It is also worth to mention that there will be new version of dev kit soon.
