And you know exactly why all CMS's do it that way. The simple solution is to not change that setting.
You are welcome to help update Indexhibit or make a sizable donation to help development. This is not a bug...these are warnings not errors...this is a closed thread now.

And I should add, I am already aware of these things. PHP 8 is going to break many things - and deprecate others. Apparently, until PHP 9 is out things will remain as they are (and PHP 9 is not even a thing yet). I want to write a brand new version of Indexhibit but there is no support for me - just constant pressure to make updates with no donations coming forward for recent updates, as well.
