What is "the script" you refer to? What specifically does not work with macOS 10.13.4 installer?

Sorry the FirmwareUpdateStandalone script to create the FirmwareUpdateStandalone.pkg

the update script that is supposed to be in the FirmwareUpdate.pkg Is not there in 10.13.4

I don't think that script is part of Imagr or supported by the developers of Imagr. If it doesn't work any longer, you'll need to fix it or not use workflows that depend upon it. The script was an unsupported hack from the very beginning.

If you care about firmware updates etc please use startosinstall.
