Cloud Comparer

This is the second version of my Cloud Comparison slide deck which I prepared a year back (can be downloaded here: http://www.slideshare.net/ilyas_it83/microsoft-azure-vs-amazon-web-services-aws-services-feature-mapping). The version 1 recieved more than 22K views and 400+ download at the time of working on this project. This gave me the idea of creating a robust and dependable comparison/mapping between the various services offered by the major cloud providers in a lively and updatable format.

The project is open sourced to let fellow Cloud Architects, IT Pros, Developers to feel free to edit and update the comparison upto date.

Azure Service Bus Topics compared with Amazon SQS

Azure Service Bus consists of three types of messaging: Queues, Topics and Relays. The former two are brokered messaging systems with capability of storing messages for offline systems, and the third one is a direct connection through a rendezvous point with no storage.
In comparison, all three are erroneously depicted as equivalent to Amazon SQS. The correct mapping would be:
Azure Service Bus Queues -> Amazon SQS
Azure Service Bus Topics -> Amazon SNS
Azure Service Bus Relays -> Not available in AWS

IBM Cloud: assigning AI APIs to the correct category

I'm a Developer Advocate @IBM and while reading through the list of services I found a few services that were not assigned to the right category or didn't have the right hyperlink.

• Speech to Text should be moved from Language Processing AI to Speech Recognition AI
• Retrieve and Rank has been deprecated and should be removed from the Image Recognition AI category
• Personality Insights should be moved from Image Recognition AI to Language Processing AI
• In the Chatbot category (under Application Services), it should be redirecting to Watson Assistant

Idea: Adding prices comparison

I belive that adding prices comparison will make Cloud Comparer even more useful and valuable - it can actually become the "official" cloud cheat sheet!

Adding Apache Foundation Solution

Even though it is not a cloud service per-se, Apache Foundation has a lot of tools that compare (and sometimes are the base for) the other cloud services. What do you think? Is this something you'd include, if I submit a PR?

AWS Glacier is not equivalent with Azure Cool Storage

AWS Glacier is an archiving service implemented using magnetic tapes with very cheap price on the cost of several hours of lead time required for retrieval. Currently there is no equivalent service in Azure.

Azure Blobs Cool Storage is equivalent with AWS S3 Infrequently Accessed layer (IA). It allows discounts for infrequently accessed data but costs more for frequently accessed data. An important difference between both AWS S3 IA and Azure Blobs Cool Storage with AWS Glacier is that Glacier needs several hours of lead time for retrieval of data whereas both S3 IA and Blobs Cool Storage allow instance retrieval of data upon request.

I am currently developing a migration support framework which I want to form with a ontology similar to your repo.

I can imagine to work with it but I wonder where you got the "properties" for the services in Services.json?

If I knew that, I could contribute by filling the gaps that are open right now!

The most important factor for companies deploying worldwide with user sensitive info as part of their service - is to have at least 2 (for geo-replication) data center sites in each legal region (e.g. 2 in china, 2 in australia, multiple in europe - what happens with Brexit now?).

Amazon Lambda is not equivalent with Azure Cloud Services or Logic Apps

Amazon Lambda is the serverless compute service in AWS. Its equivalent is Azure Functions.
Azure Cloud Service and Logic Apps are incorrectly mapped to Amazon Lambda in the comparison.

Azure Cloud Services is much more closer to Amazon Elastic Beanstalk. In anyway it has no capability for serverless workloads.

Azure App Service Logic Apps is a workflow management service, similar to Amazon SWF and Amazon StepFunctions. Although Logic Apps capabilities are far beyond those offered by SWF or StepFunctions, at least the overall purpose is the same.

Azure App Service API Apps may be compared with AWS Lambda, because both can host backend REST APIs.

Exchange Online is directly integrated into an Azure AD Tenant space, and relies entirely upon Azure to function.

Consolidated Management of Multiple Accounts

Azure supports a hybrid EA / Pay as you go subscription management model well above the subscription level. In my opinion, an Subscription is the equivalent of an AWS Account.

The core concepts of Security, Identity, and compliance as used per the AWS Org model is achieved as below.

equivalent of AWS Management console in Azure

It is erroneously mentioned as Azure Management Console. The correct equivalent to AWS Management Console is Azure Portal.

UX/UI Changes

I've noticed a few UX/UI issues that could be improved.

1. The "Fork me on Github" banner in the top left doesn't cross the top of the screen, leaving it asymmetrical and unsightly
2. You can only click through a link by clicking the tiny "link" icon to the right of the name of each service, it would be much more user-friendly if you could click the logo or any part of the name
3. The web page width is slightly too wide, creating a horizontal scroll bar (you can easily fix this by adding width: 100%; to the github links element, as it's what's causing the issue)

Beyond that, I'd say that the page could benefit from some updated web development techniques, for example utilizing CSS Flexbox to display the main table, which would make it easier to manage and center the elements properly.

Provide a legend or clarification about the meaning of the cross red circle icon given the service is available for the given provider and lack thereof is shown with an empty cell.
