sorry, i'm very new to github and i do not understand how to use pull requests. I tried to open one but i'm asked to compare versions and i'm a bit lost on this point ... i expected to find a place to just upload my updated version of the file.

Ok what is odd is that in current code

params dict looks like

Maybe you aren't using latest master version.

I suggest to git clone this repository (master branch) locally.
