- The image on there is an image element, but not a image url.
So you should set an HTMLVideoElement to drawImage, maybe like context.drawImage(video, 0, 0, 100, 100);

Sorry I was wrong, I found we can play local video in WebView (iOS) just a moment ago.
I am not test that on Android, but for this use case, I do not think we need test on Android, because canvas drawImage-video is not support on some old mobile.
so I use some native code to support Android, and use Webview-Canvas for iOS, will open source when i am free later.
By the way, you can try another package called react-native-video-processing https://github.com/shahen94/react-native-video-processing . i met some error after install with podspec.
