have you tried -git of aquamarine and hyprland?
have you tried disabling explicit sync in hl config?

from hyprland.

Yaaneva avatar Yaaneva commented on September 28, 2024

Yes I've tried aquamarine-git and hyprland-git. It is still the same though.
How can I disable explicit sync? Do I paste " Set render:explicit_sync = 0" in the hyprland config?

from hyprland.

render {
    explicit_sync = 0
}

from hyprland.

Yaaneva avatar Yaaneva commented on September 28, 2024

Whenever I write this it shows "config option <render.explicit_sync> doesn not exist" on the top.
Btw this is the output I get when I use "sudo journalctl -p 3 -xb"

Huh... Ok. I'll try that too then. Thanks :)

Edit: No it doesn't work man. It stays the same unfortunately. I've downgraded to 0.41.2 again :(

It has been resolved for me fortunately. Since, I use someone else's dotfiles it looks like there was some. I just had to reinstall arch again and it works fine now!
