[Feature req.] More 3D resolution options about noods

I honestly wasn't planning on going above 2x for the software renderer; the next size up is 4x, which would be incredibly demanding. It would make more sense for a future hardware renderer to support resolutions like this. That said, you do seem to have a powerful machine that might handle it. I'll keep this in mind.

Would it be more work than just changing a 2 to a 4 to increase the resolution? I really would like to try it out.

Ah, it's not quite that easy. Aside from stuff that's hardcoded for the 2x framebuffer, there's a hack to prevent calculation overflow at 2x that would definitely need to be rethought for 4x.
