what has inclusivity to do with it? What you describe is using someone's likeness without consent - an important topic, but one that is not relate to inclusivity in any shape or form.
Since we are talking about generative AI, I think a reasonable solution is to just use generated images, of non existing people. Problem solved.

@Collin-Budrick thanks for agreeing with me on a needed confirmation of consent! Imo it makes a difference whether people post something they created with their body online to show million of fans or if someone else uses their body to show their work (the researcher team could have easily use their own images / videos to do so). Especially in the academic context, this is a huge no-go and can be liable to prosecution. You can also read about a similar case if you google "Lena Forsén". Many journals have be speaking out about using images unconsentionally, e. g. Nature Nanotechnology

I'd really appreciate it, if you could send me links to the other repositories where you saw this images being used! :)

fair request... but I've seen these images used in other repositories, and I highly doubt the women depicted are in opposition to the fame since they did post it on tik-tok for million of fans. Still, though, a confirmation of consent is important. If the authors didn't ask, that's a no-no and should be addressed.
