This is a simple issue. The text sensor value simply needs to have quotes appended to the beginning and end of the value. The only potential problem would be if the text value begins or ends with a quote. This would result in the quote itself being escaped (which should also be fixed quite easily).
Suggested solution:
- Find and replace " in text sensors with ""
- Append a " to the beginning and end of all text sensor values.
