Probably needs a bit better documentation...

The Knocki integration can receive events for the triggers set up from your Knocki devices.

Seems it will not create entities, but generate an events when Knocki has an event.

When this happens, I always attempt to create an automation using the UI and the device's trigger.

The app still requires an update and I am waiting for that. After that its possible to work.

Hey, experiencing the same thing I created triggers within the original app, but cannot see away in home assistance to take advantage of any trigger.

I tried this right now, but unfortunatly the state of the new generated event entity stays on unknown forever.

Does anyone know, what they mean in the app with "Task Id". This is shown, when i select Homeassistant in the app.

Home Assistant in the app shows as Coming Soon to me so it may not be fully rolled out yet.

for me, I was able to add the home assistant trigger/gesture in the app (it said it was in beta), but still not seeing any entities/devices in HA Knocki integration.

Is an event being fired off?
