Hey there @lellky, @piotrbulinski, mind taking a look at this issue as it has been labeled with an integration (flexit_bacnet) you are listed as a code owner for? Thanks!

Hello, and thanks for bringing this up.

This is not a bug, the feature you are requesting is not yet implemented. The reason behind this is that it is still unclear (to me) what presets and modes we should support, and what the difference is.

Please post a feature request in the forum: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/flexit-nordic-bacnet-roadmap-ideas/675223

Cheers!

Thank you for your feedback! The purpose of the Fireplace mode is to provide added supply air and reduced extract air when using fireplaces, due to the air going up the chimney. User has to manually activate this mode when needed.

There is also a mode called "Cooker hood" which will activate (automatically I think) if the user starts the fan above the stove. This should only be available if the cooker hood is attached to the ventilation unit. Like the Fireplace mode this increases supply air and reduces extract air due to air going out through the kitchen stove fan.

I will post it as a feature request.

Yes, you are totally correct.

In the meantime you can manually set the in/out fans to achieve "fireplace mode" in an automation. Just remember your initial settings for the fans.

Side note: the "problem"/reson for the fireplace mode not being implemented is that it is not a mode per se but a combination of a mode and a timer. I will look into this after the summer.

I will now close this issue.
