There were quite a few issues with the underlying library that have been fixed in 2024.7.x. Its possible this issue might be solved.

what exactly are you looking for in the debug logs? I have it running but don't see anything on the temp sensor

this is mostly it:

in my config, it seems to be only the temp sensor, the others (I have enabled) do update.

Schermafbeelding 2024-05-12 om 22 19 59

Since this is new, and a regression from earlier versions: is this now actually considered a bug, and hopefully can be fixed?

I did consider enabling the real-time statistics, but considering the warning havent done so, especially since I never needed that before. Guess I could try it for now, awaiting a fix?

Mariusthvdb avatar Mariusthvdb commented on September 25, 2024

Btw, these entities are made by Protect integration, however they are listed on the UniFi Networks documentation ?

its where I expected them tbh as the temp sensor is in fact unrelated to the actual Protect diagnostics sensors for the NVR

Unifi Protect creates:

  "sensor.udm_pro_uptime",
  "sensor.udm_pro_storage_utilization",
  "sensor.udm_pro_cpu_temperature",

and these disabled sensors:

sensor.udm_pro_type_timelapse_video
sensor.udm_pro_type_continuous_video
sensor.udm_pro_type_detections_video
sensor.udm_pro_resolution_hd_video
sensor.udm_pro_resolution_4k_video
sensor.udm_pro_resolution_free_space
sensor.udm_pro_recording_capacity
sensor.udm_pro_cpu_utilization_2
sensor.udm_pro_memory_utilization_2

Unifi (Network)s creates:

 "sensor.udm_pro_state",
  "sensor.udm_pro_cpu_utilization",
  "sensor.udm_pro_memory_utilization"

and disabled

  "sensor.udm_pro_uptime_2",
