Hello. Thanks for fixing but I don't think this will work in my system. I have different metric name - contains "airflow" in the name.
See bellow the metrics starting with netdata_smartd_log:

The same, the chart label contains the "airflow" text in the name

I put below a picture with metrics returned in my systems for family="temperature",job="netdata"

As you can see - the metric (netdata_smartd_log_airflow_temperature_celsius_celsius_average) and the chart (smartd_log.airflow_temperature_celsius) contains "airflow".

Also you can see the metric ALERTS_FOR_STATE when a alert is fired.

Why my initial proposal it's not ok (to exclude metrics that have the label "alertname")?
