Yes, that could be an option for replies.

In that case, when the view threshold is not reached yet, a tooltip that appears on click should should be shown. "To preserve user privacy, reply views by country are show when total views exceed "X", or something similar. Not too elegant, but will minimize confusion.

Another question: what is the optimal views threshold? 50 is def enough, but maybe 20 will also cut it? Some math would be needed to quantify that. I'd go with 42 to save time ;)
