Hi,

I just downloaded this script in the last hour or so.

When I run it it fails with this output:

root@raspberrypi:/home# rpi-update
Raspberry Pi firmware updater by Hexxeh, enhanced by AndrewS
Performing self-update
Autodetecting memory split
Using ARM/GPU memory split of 224MB/32MB
We're running for the first time
Setting up firmware (this will take a few minutes)

I thought it might be related to your update today based on the error message.

Re-running the command, I no longer get that error, but I do get a new one:

root@raspberrypi:/home# rpi-update
Raspberry Pi firmware updater by Hexxeh, enhanced by AndrewS
Performing self-update
Autodetecting memory split
Using ARM/GPU memory split of 224MB/32MB
We're running for the first time
Setting up firmware (this will take a few minutes)
cp: cannot stat `//root/.rpi-firmware/*.elf': No such file or directory

The /root/.rpi-firmware/ directory has these files it in:

drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 4096 Oct 9 18:56 .git
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2268 Oct 9 18:56 README.md
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 6147 Oct 9 18:56 rpi-update

I am running the 2012-09-18-wheezy-raspbian image and doing this update via ssh to my rpi if either of those make any difference.

That fixed it, it said it completed successfully, I just rebooted and everything seems to be working great.

You help a lot of people with your work on this project, I can't thank you enough.
