I think you commented on wrong issue.

First it seems that it's only possible to switch between 2 windows. If we want to change to a third window (or move between all windows) we need to activate the alt+tab menu. Would it be possible to switch between all windows with multiple swipes ?

In a single (without lifting fingers up) swipe you can switch between between any window (after alt-tab switcher is visible).
Switching using multiple swipes (lifting fingers up), doesn't seem right.

For CoverflowAltTab extensions, modification will need to be done in this extension. I'll try this after sometime (Currently I'm trying to see if App Switcher(GNOME's default Super+Tab) can be used instead of Window Switcher).

I thought that it would be great to be able to switch between all windows that way and not only 2 of them (but it's ok if it's intended)

This would be nice. Actually if you use GNOME's default app switcher i guess that CoverflowAltTab extensions should work as it replace this switcher.
