So far I've written some code that accounts for these extra cases but in terms of months and years it's not so accurate as a person may write 5 months as an argument but getting this in terms of the quantity multiplier is not so easy as it depends on things such as whether the year is a leap year or not (could be accounted for using the calendar module). In terms of days and weeks it's much more accurate of course. What would you advise I do?

I'm fine with "remind me in a month" meaning remind me in 30 days, and similarly for years (365 days). For the use-case of this bot so far most items have been due in at most a month, so I'm okay with longer remind times being slightly inaccurate due to leap years and such.
