Option to disable email attachments about wg-portal

How does a download-link secure this? I fully understand that an email with the entire configuration including the private key, is very very sensible via email (since those are archived). But using a download link does not help either, until it is not an 'once download' kind of thing.

We have the same reason you might have been motivated by not using emails to share the configuration - we have to stick to more secure, less persistence communication levels. I would love to see a download link, but a 'use once' kind of thing would be it.

I think the link should be password protected (so the user has to log in to WireGuard Portal in order to download the configuration).
This of course would imply that sending configuration to non-users would no longer be possible.

I would rather opt in for an encrypted 7z/zip email attachment then download. We want to protect the which-portal, thus there is no access to it except the admin via ssh port forward. A download would not be possible for us. But an encrypted email attachment with a password send / given a non email way makes sense to me IMHO
