The pointed out behavior is the same in Insert mode.

Start Insert-mode and type tmp/
then type file name completion (<C-X><C-F>
).

Related Issues (20)
- A completions are not complemented by TAB key, When 'clcompleteopt' option include "menu" and "noinsert", and there is only one match. HOT 1
- small and tiny feature build fails
- We should remove 'clcompleteopt' options value `longest`.
- 'wildmode' option value name `clpum` does not intuitive.
- SEGV when using `<C-R>=` HOT 2
- E523 occurred and bad cursor location, when type `<C-R>=` in clpum HOT 3
- When the 'Pattern not found' is being displayed in clpum, type <C-P> display the previous command history. HOT 1
