Not that I know of. We have the control over whether contact info is
overwritten or not.

Eventbrite lets event organizers specify whether they want to collect home or work - and our code puts the address in the right place. Please check again with an event that has home address info - if it is true that "address info is always imported to work address" then we have a bug.
Otherwise, we can close this issue, unless you feel it would be worthwhile to have an option to "Import work address as home address and vice-versa" or some such thing.
