Liberario already caches the locations. Try pressing the Star button. in the next version, these cached locations will also be used for auto-completion.

Are there prebuilt apks of the dev versions? So others & i can test
against the dev version before posting bugs? (periodically updated apks,
not one time for this particular feature)

No there are not and for this code it would not even make sense since it is not ready and not even committed.

As soon as a release is ready for testing, you can get it via my F-Droid repository: http://grobox.de/fdroid/
