Linuxserver has a version of the image that is compatible with Raspberry Pi (ARM).

I just manually created the site from @berrnd instructions with changes to slim. Docker isn't friendly for an average user, A pi image would be useful, Going to dive into it.

Sure, feel free to create such a image, would be great.

There are already various Docker images (but I don't know if they also work on ARM/Raspberry Pies).

@highaltidude I've just looked and since the Dockerfile is based on Alpine it should automatically support ARM (All versions of Raspberry Pi including zero).

If you're running Raspbian, a simple apt install docker python3-pip and pip3 install docker-compose should supply all the relevant infrastructure, now you just need to clone the repo and run docker-compose up in the same directory as docker-compose.yml, to see if it all worked simply type docker ps and observe the list and the status of the desired container.

Two small disclaimers before this message: I'm not really a containerization or multi-architecture expert, and I think that linuxserver is doing a great job of creating grocy container images.

That said, as part of developing/maintaining the grocy/grocy Docker Hub container, I've recently built grocy/nginx:multiarch and grocy/grocy:multiarch Alpine-based images, which may work on Raspberry Pi, among other platforms. I haven't had a chance to test these much yet, and would appreciate any feedback.

(feel free to reassign this issue across to the grocy/grocy-docker repository if you like, @berrnd)

Closing as resolved by #156 - grocy-docker images published to Docker Hub are now multi-architecture.
