Apply the chain rule manually at the CellBasis concrete structs, till we reach the point in which we have to derive at the Gauss point level. On the other hand, we have extended the method \delta
at the user level, so we can compute the Jacobian internally, given a residual. The Gauss point level derivative can be computed by hand in a first step. In the future, we could consider Automatic Differentation. Think about forward vs backward AD methods.
We can also think about a version for linear problems that use the same method as for nonlinear problems, i.e., only passing the residual.
