it still logs even if its turned off about umatrix

Sorry my bad, setting it to another value and re-entering the zero fixed my problem.

1. Set value to zero
2. Disable extension
3. Enable extension
4. Go to statistics tab

I tested and as soon as I disable the extension, this code is called, which update the setting, hence it is applied. I am testing with Chromium 37. Maybe they changed something in 39.

I tested on Google Chrome 40 Windows and it also works fine.

Do you have any flags set? Like enable-fast-unload? There seems to be something specific to your environment, as I can't reproduce on Chromium 37, neither on Google Chrome 40. Maybe someone else can confirm.

enable-fast-unload flag is enabled. But I can't remember exactly which flags I set.

Wait a minute, I just noticed entries in the request log despite being set a zero. I can make it happens whenever I opened a new blank tab.
