Thanks for the suggestion. AFAIK, js-based components don't interop with
dart atm so im not sure what value it adds. The dart community is welcome
to port this element however.

I would love to see these components available to the dart community via a
'pub' package, instead of only a bower package.

I find value in using paper elements in my dart apps just as I would using your components.

https://pub.dartlang.org/packages/paper_elements

"The paper_elements package bundles all the paper elements into a single pub package, so that you can add paper_elements as a dependency in your pubspec. Installing npm and bower is not required.

Status
This is an early access version of the paper elements. The elements are still changing on both the JavaScript and Dart sides."

Right. All the paper dart elements are ports of their js versions.

Actually, most of the Dart paper elements are Dart-wrapped versions of the
JS paper elements that are published to pub. Someone from the community
could almost certainly use the scripts from the Dart core/paper elements to
created a Dart-wrapped version of this element.

Thanks, this gives me a model to wrap other elements like street view!
