How in Exoplyaer Upgrade Gradle Version from agp_version = '7.4.2' to the latest 8.2? about exoplayer

Please do not abuse the issue tracker by circumventing the deprecation confirmation

I understand this project is deprecated, that I should file my issue in the Media3 issue tracker instead of here, and this issue will be closed with no response.

The issue is not related to the library itself, but to gradle. Please see other solutions only of people running into the NameSpace issue when upgrading to 8.x.x:

It looks like adding the namespace, as you did, is the intended solution.

@oceanjules I am (was) aware of Exoplayer is deprecated and the project would moved to Media3 , but I have developed my application base on Exoplayer library (not Media3) . so if this Exoplayer Developers stop supporting Exoplayer then it makes too much redundant work and it also would be pain in the neck for everyone of us.
