music_sharing_web_app icon music_sharing_web_app

Music Share is a web based application designed to allow you to discover music, share it with your friends, and share your thoughts on that music. It supports three types of users: Administrators, Moderators, and normal Users. Users get to search through the database, rate and review specific songs/album/artists, follow other users, and recommend specific songs to a friend along with a recommendation message. The administrators’ main responsibility is to add and maintain the content of the database: Add new songs, albums, and artists. The moderators’ job is to ensure that the rules of the database are being followed. For example, if a user makes an inappropriate review, it is the moderator’s job to flag that review as inappropriate, warn that user, and increment that user’s number of strikes.
