I’m planning to do a service but I don’t know how many distributions use systemd. About your problem, is something related to the user’s privileges, I think that those scripts (starup) are running as other users, but I’m not sure.
Edit: I added a cd to the run.sh, maybe that was the cause, if you can confirm if it works now...

Okay, I think a service is not possible, it would be overcomplicate the stuff. I changed some stuff and it seems it works on startup.

Problem seems fixed. Able to start it up now without even touching the terminal anymore.
