@penibelst I haven't run into these errors recently, but when I did before I probably just replaced links with the URLs they redirected to. Now that you mention it, it may not hurt to write a test case for this.

We have already tests for this. Can you please provide an example for a redirection which always fails? If not, we should close this issue.

In @nschonni’s case Wikipedia returned nothing:

Server returned nothing (no headers, no data)!

It was not a wrong redirection, but a server outage.
