Fixed by calling self.window.update() in each sim loop which keeps the GUI responsive.
-
This will create the unforeseen issue that users will be able to change settings DURING the simulation, which could lead to memory exceptions and double-access errors. I can fix this by disabling all controls during the sim and re-enabling them before showing the graph once completed.
-
This also opens the opportunity to add a 'stop' button which will stop the sim at any stage.
