Is there any way to turn off extension sync when starting a new workspace about gitpod

We want to provide developers who are developing smart contracts with an environment similar to Remix using Gitpod.
At that time, we used a certain extension and released a pre-release version. This version had some settings that were different from the official release, so we wanted to disable the plugin synchronization settings when launching Gitpod. But it has already been integrated upstream, so this feature is no longer needed. :)

However, I would still like to ask if gitpod can disable plugin synchronization using a CLI command? And whether the command I have attempted is correct.

In VS Code Browser is always on and cannot be switched off. Command which you shared is to sync Gitpod tasks, and don't have any relationships to VS Code Browser Settings Sync.
