No popup window (prompt) for login/password about gitextensions

If you are using putty, did you load the private key in the dialog? If so, could you test it using the Test connection button.

No - i don't use private (public) keys for authorization. I use only login and password. I try to copy line from GitExtensions log-window - 'C:\Program Files\Git\cmd\git.cmd clone -v "ssh://[email protected]/home/git" "D:/testgit"' and paste it into "clonegit.bat". If i start this bat-file i get popup window with prompt to enter password. I think maybe in RunCmd function redirection blocking this popup window?

You could try using OpenSSH instead op PuTTY. GitExtensions is only testen when loading a private key into the putty authentication agent. It is not tested any other way, i didn't even now there is one. Could you give me the results when using OpenSSH?

Thanks. Then i try OpenSSH i got console window with password prompt. All work nice. In my case no difference between which ssh clients to use. :) Thanks again.

I don't have much experience with SSH, I only use it for GitHub. I thought there is always a key pair involved. If this is not the case, it is possible that GitExtensions doesn't prompt for the password.
