Multi level in 'fromKey' about brick

@pkozlovskiy as of right now, there aren't plans to incorporate this because it adds an extra layer of complexity. For the time being, try out allow-convert-json-overrides and add this code to your repository:

class CustomRestProvider extends RestProvider {
  @override
  dynamic convertJsonFromGet(String json, String key) {
    final decoded = jsonDecode(json);
    if (key != null && decoded['results'][key] != null) {
      return decoded['results'][key];
    } else if (decoded is Map) {
      if (decoded.keys.length == 1) {
        return decoded.values.first;
      }
    }

    return decoded;
  }
}

MyRepository(
  restProvider: CustomerRestProvider(...)
)

If this feature request receives more attention and ups from the community, I'll look at a more wholistic and sustainable solution. In that event, I'll notify you here on this issue immediately.
