The Issue occurs on the binary build "px.exe" on ca5d1fb.
Using source and Miniconda3 x64 the px.py seems to download the file to main memory which is maybe a bug by itelf

Are you seeing the exception on Python 2 or 3?
I agree loading into memory is wrong but am wondering if it's worth fixing if everyone is moving to https.

I dont' know what version of python the binary build includes.
At least python 3 works !

As to "loading into memory": isn't it the same with https ? The response is buffered to memory before sending back to client.
