Thanks for your suggestions and efforts.
I suspect that treating all cases for gender/plural and other language specific inflexion is way beyond GeneWeb basic capabilities. Beyond this technical aspect, it would require support from many language specialists we do not have access to!
Shooting for a simplified solution, as you suggest in c) is probably the right choice.
On this issue of number of children, note that we have a longstanding idea/request to memorize somewhere that the number of children recorded in the base is "definitive" (meaning that it is known that there are no other children to be discovered).
