File path about kweb

Argh, sorry. Yes, this is a problem in the configuration with kweb as it is now mainly made to work with gdsfactory.

If you want a quick and dirty fix and are under linux:

Copy the file wg.gds in the gds files folder src/kweb/gds_files/wg.gds to /tmp/wg.gds /tmp/gdsfactory/wg.gds

@joamatab can we make kweb work again with the link that the README says?

Yes, I also tried to copy the files to the gdsfactory directory, and I successfully ran it. Next, I want to study how to display gds on the front-end page through websocket. I have an idea to modify this project to separate the front and back ends, which may be better

Frontend and backend are separated already. Backend is purely in server.py, frontend is the client.js and client.html . I purely stopped developing this, because a) I am not a good webdeveloper (also interest isn't that big) and b) my company doesn't have a current need for this

Thanks ^^. Though I have to say most of the frontend either comes from @klayoutmatthias or @joamatab with other people from a hackathon. I purely slapped fastapi onto the initial proof of concept and changed some stuff to make it work with jinja templates. So, there are most definitely people here that did way more for this than me

fixed with 1.0. Just set KWEB_FILESLOCATION to a folder with your desired gds files.
