Solved!
Two different issues actually.
FontSize was only written out if it equalled "1 1". It is now written out if equal to any value other than "1 1".
fontPadding was referred to everywhere as an Unsigned Integer (U32), but was written out as a Floating point.
I just made it a Floating Point throughout, which will allow for more precision.
