How are SpriteBatchItems laid out in your CompositeSprite?
If you call CompositeSprite.getPosition(), does it return 4,6 or does it return 2,3?

The batch layout is OFF, I tried all of them and the result is the same.
Strange thing that CompositeSprite.getPosition() returns 2,3.

Cannot reproduce the Bug, with the latest development branch, even setting random coordinates positions the composite sprite correctly in ALL layouts.
However, if you place the Sprite contained within your CompositeSprite at 2,3, it will always be offset by 2,3 from the center of the CompositeSprite. This means that placing the CompositeSprite at 2,3 will make your SpriteBatchItem (contained within the CompositeSprite) be placed at 4,6.
