npm install step is very slow about gae-init

Try to update nodejs/npm

node --version
v0.10.31

I have to agree with @gmist.. in my case with not so good connection the whole process took less than a min :)

try installing npm from the european mirrors.. http://npmjs.eu/

thanks for the hint with using another registry... in the end seems that the default https://registry.npmjs.org is very slow here and i had an old npm version. I'm surprised npm doesn't have some mirror autoselection as for most other package managers...
