Probably caused by newer(and breaking changes) dependency
Travis runs tests against latest dependencies every day, and there's been no recent breakage, so I doubt that's it.
More likely is the other direction: you are using a very old version of the google.golang.org/grpc package. Try updating it to latest (and whatever dependencies must also be updated) and see if that fixes your issue.
