Allow users to connect to, read and write to their Door43 account from within Autographa Live. This includes WACS as a target too.

It works fine when I surf slowly. But when I navigate pages quickly it slows down the application as well as breaks the entire app.

Add translationWords, translationNotes and other such reference material for the MTT within the app.

When renaming the Bible Name for a reference text, if you enter 10 or more characters, you will receive a warning that the name cannot be more than 10 characters. However, it actually cannot be more than 9 characters as currently setup. Entering a 10 character name still leads to “Name cannot be more than 10 characters.”

When I just click once inside the each empty line of translation panel to edit it works fine. But if I double click by mistake or on second click over the empty line, the cursor suddenly disappears.
To retain my cursor pointer I have to move and click on another line and come back again to the desired line, to start inserting the data.

Throwing an error on Screen if I have a non-usfm file inside my reference directory.

The synchronization code needs a minor refactoring so naming matches purpose more clearly. E.g., "paratextObj" is not just used for Paratext, and "wacs*" functions are used for all Gitea services.

Add folder ICON for importing the files from the folder and Enable typing for direct import of a folder or file using the directory path.

It is difficult to correct anything that you have previously typed in Autograph due to some sort of "automatic cursor return" (my description). If you have typed a verse and realize you need to change a word in the middle of it you can place your cursor where the change needs to me made with the mouse, but if you don't almost instantly touch another key the cursor will return to the beginning of that verse. A simple deletion or insertion of a word in the middle or at the end of a verse can take two or three attempts having to retrieve the cursor from the beginning of the verse multiple times.

As of now the app only allows the user to download a book at a time as USFM. For those trying to download all the books in one-go, this can be cumbersome. Let's make a backup button that generates all the the USFM files in one-shot.

Currently, if Autographa-Lite is installed, trying to install Autographa-Live reports an error, saying that a newer version is installed. deb repository should know the difference between the two apps, especially during this testing time.

The Gitea import and export features wastefully re-clone the remote repo every time (because it makes using temp folders much simpler). Get smarter about reusing this local data to reduce the network traffic.

I have added one of the punjabi (.usfm) file as a reference to my Autographa Live, foot note markers displayed in reference text ( \f + \fr 1:2 \ft ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ \f)*

Clicking anywhere in the book pop-up causes it to move over to the chapters tab.

As I compare the reference bible that I import with translation bible, it's not comparing even both languages are with same code

Ability to show translation resources for translator reference.

Add audio recording feature from within Ag for each chapter. This can be done for recording:

• directly from source text without a target text translation.
• Or basically reading out the translated target text.

In Gitea/Door43/WACS, a user should be able to choose from a list of existing repositories, or else create a new one.

To aid the translator with drafting, the app should have the ability to render markdown (and using that other Bible resources) in the reference pane.

I can see the reference Hindi(Hindi-IRV)version having wrongly repeated words in most of the chapters/books
eg: Gen 1:12,14,15(ज्‍योतियांज्योंतियाँयों, छोटे छोटेछोटे-छोटे...)

After importing a book or books, show a list or count of what was imported.

Don't go to a blank screen after importing a book. There are three calls to window.location.reload() in the Settings.js file. Those should be replaced with a more controlled update of the editor.

As importing wrongly verse or chapter tagged usfm files entire, the app breaks without showing any report of it.

Allows the app to read release information from GitHub and update existing application without needing to re-install. This should be explicitly enabled by the user and should be switched-off by default.

User flow:

1. If the app has auto-update enabled, it checks for update on app start or using a button within the auto-update section of the settings pop-up.
2. Once an update is available, it shows a pop-up with an option for the user to download it.
3. If the user agrees, the update happens in the background and the progress is shown in the top bar.
4. Once the update is downloaded, the user is shown a pop-up with the option of either installing it then or on app restart.
5. Either ways, once the app is updated, the user is shown the proof of the update in the top-bar via the new version number. (This assumes the app always shows the version number on the top bar).

• When the user enables the auto-update, it should have a confirmation pop-up with the title 'Confirm Internet Access' that says 'Enabling auto-update would allow Autographa Lite to connect to the internet to check for updates during the start of the application. Are you sure you want to proceed?' It should have options of 'OK' and 'Cancel'
• The Auto-update tab, when enabled, should have a link that says 'Check for updates now' and once clicked it should become 'Checking...'. Once the user allows the download, the link should change to 'Update downloading...'.
• If there is no update available, there should be a pop-up that says: 'Auto-update Unavailable' as title and and text: 'Autographa Lite is up to date.'
• The pop-up when update available should have title 'Autographa Lite Update Available' and the message should be 'A new version of the app is available. Do you want to download the update now? You may continue working while the update is downloaded in the background.' It should have options 'Download' and 'Cancel'
• When the user has finished downloading the update, there should be a pop-up shown with the title 'Install Updates' that says 'A newer version of Autographa Lite has finished downloading. Do you want to install the update now? Otherwise, the update would be installed when you restart the application.' It should have options, 'Install and Restart' and 'Later'.

Autographa supports Gitea, but it could easily support any provider with a Git-SSH or Git-HTTPS clone URL. Consider adding this to the "Other" sync provider tab. The existing endpoint textfield could get smarter and accept either a Gitea API endpoint or a clone URL.

For the import dialogue, allow users to select multiple files and/or folders.

There seems to be an issue when doing a search and replace for a whole book, the changed text does not seem to appear on screen sometimes. Also, after the replacements the export to USFM has inconsistent output.

We use ISO 639-1 language codes for our projects. These are not currently usable in Autographa. The ability to use arbitrary codes, or ISO 639-1 compliant codes, would be a great help. It would also be nice to be able to update/sync the language code list in the app to a catalog json file.

Need test cases for syncing with DCS / WACS.

Since both import reference and import-translation got different file way of selection. It's a little confusing method and it will be good, If I can have option to select only required the file while import reference just similar to import translation.

Expand more icon in the "Successfully Imported Files" section is placed above.

• Make UI section for 'Sync' with tab for 'Paratext'.
  -- It should contain 'Username' and 'Password/Registration Code' fields under the 'Credentials' sub-heading.
  -- It should have a 'Sign in' button, which connects to Paratext servers, if connection is available.
• If the app is able to connect successfully, it should list the 'Available Projects' under the username/password form.
  -- The user should be able to select which books/projects to import and click 'Import' button. At this point a dialogue box shows 'Warning' as title and text: 'This will overwrite any existing text in the selected books' and options of 'Continue' and 'Cancel'.
  -- If the user clicks 'Continue', the app should import those books and load them in the database. It should a loading icon while doing this.
• There should be an export button that allows the user to send data to Paratext.

Note: The inherent assumptions are that 'import' will give always give priority to text in Paratext cloud over Autographa and 'export' works vice-versa.

If the user tries to 'Upload' data without 'Import'ing first, then it's not possible for us to know what exact form the USX file is in, since internally we do not capture the extended markup. To overcome that we should first have a 'Enable' button on each project listing, on clicking which we automatically import the files (in their respective project folder in the user project directory) and then allow the user to continue using the sync options for that project. Also the listing of books shouldn't show any books other than 66 ones that the app can handle.

• Create 'Enable' button. Only after clicking this button (and downloading the data), should the user be allowed to see the books and use the 'Import' and 'Upload' buttons. Instead we'll download the files from the cloud and save it in the directory only when the user selects certain books (only those) and clicks 'Upload'.
• Setup the projects in the 'paratext_projects' folder in the users' application data directory. This path is within the user's application directory.
• Once the file is uploaded, it should also be updated in the users' directory. Not needed now.
• When uploading, show a warning message that says: "The uploaded text will overwrite any un-synced changes in your project on the cloud." Cancel and OK.
• Only one card in the sync tab should be open at a time.
• It should be 'Sign In' (with space).
• Once signed-in we should show a green dot next to the paratext tab text and close the credentials card.
• The message should say 'Import Successful'.
• The message for export should say 'Upload Successful'
• The test should include today's date and first upload that data to paratext and then import it back and check in the text to see if it is the same and then report the test as successful or not.
• Retry connection 3 times for each type of request.
• Hide password
• The app refresh should be done away with and should show a loader of some sort.
• We need to keep a back-up of the data.

Each sync provider should probably get a sentence about what it is, and/or a link to its website, so users know where to sign up. This could be placed above the credentials panel in the sync tab.

Hello, I have a strange problem with the v1.2.3 release. The language that I am working in requires at least 15 to 20% more space than the English texts. When I am typing or copying and pasting in verses of translated text the program will allow me to scroll down to the third to last or second to last verse in either a full screen window mode or a half screen window, either 2 or 3 column view. The last verse I cannot get to, neither by down arrow, PgDn or scrolling functions with mouse. The ONLY way I can get to the last verse in a chapter is to narrow the screen until the columns are barely a one inch or two wide, basically a couple of words wide, and then the last verse will show up. It is mildly annoying to work with...

Another thought...
If the columns were individually adjustable for width on the Source Text then this column(s) could be narrowed with respect to the Translation column thereby creating sufficient length in the translation column and making accessible all verses in each chapter.

In order to show translationWords help on the specific words, create a background process that works once the current reference pane is done loading, that searches for relevant words in the index and generates needed pop-up and link from the UI.
