Hey @Fancy1717, Is there a possibility you're on a patched version of Docker? I could have sworn 18.09.1-ce was vulnerable, however I've noticed that patched versions stop after getting the file handle. (Adding some error statements to the code can help shine some light on what is going on.)

I ran the exploit on a patched version and got the same result you did, see below.

Perhaps uninstall Docker and then reinstall an older version?

Hey @Frichetten , thank you very much. I reinstall the Docker 18.03.1-ce, and it worked. Perhaps the Docker 18.09.1-ce version I have installed was patched.

No problem! I could have sworn 18.09.1-ce was vulnerable. Perhaps they patched it without incrementing the version number?
