We've pinned to 0.4.0 for the time being. LMK if you have any pointers or want any help - glad to look at this with you all.

The problem you're running into is different even though the outcome is the same. Before, there were way too many arguments passed to a function. Now, the recursion is too deep. And that's quite a problem to solve.
