I finally found a workaround to make it work by disabling event on the Area using a custom dataComponent:
import { Area } from 'victory-native';
const CustomDataComponent = (props: any) => {
// eslint-disable-next-line @typescript-eslint/no-unused-vars
const { events, ...others } = props;
return <Area {...others} />;
};
// ...
<VictoryArea dataComponent={<CustomDataComponent />} {...} />
But I think it's still an issue for React Native

For React Native projects we are shifting our focus to our Victory Native XL library which is purpose built for supporting Native. Many of the design decisions we made in this version of Victory is not ideal for Native development.

Thanks for your answer but there is something I don't understand, I'm already using the victory-native
mentioned in the Victory Native XL doc you sent me.
It's seem to be the same package than the package mentioned in the Victory Documentation here, except that the dependencies are differents.
How it is suppose to work ?
Edit: For those asking the same question, it's the same package, the difference is in the version number: you need a version >= 40 to benefit from victory-native-xl.

@LaGregance We are working on getting that documentation updated. Victory Native XL is a complete rewrite of the code.
